there is a 160 versatile forsale in my area all it has done in 20 years is lift pallets off trucks , i thinking about it for the farm, what should i look for , noise, wear, leaks, where, ive never run one before, i have a small feedlot are they any good.
 
Some of the early ones had issues with fires caused by hoses rubbing together in the pivot area, leaking oil and burning up. Good area to keep an eye on.
 
I don't know much about the 160 other than it was a very early model.
I believe it had a Waukesha engine...
You might want to look into parts availability for that beast through Dresser before you dive in ears deep.
If that's no concern to you, go for it.
There's a number of Bi-di's around this area and they're certainly handy for a lot of things, especially snow removal around here.
