Bought more than last year and payed less, and actually got better hybrids. I am really happy with the early pay discounts. Now to plan manure application and how much chicken manure to save. Birds go out in 3 weeks and I want to only pile what I need and sell the rest.

Went with Renk again. I never had a chance to contact a salesmen from FC. I may still see if I can get a bag of theirs and see how it compares to the renk seed. I am planting 2 varieties on similar soild and see which one does better on my soils.

I haven't got my soil samples back yet, but am curious. Generally speaking, does corn grow better in heavy--a fair amount of clay--or lighter ground. The clay might hold water better, but will also bake hard in dry times. I'm only planting food plots. Or is there another crop, like beans, that might work better?

I have heard that the seed companies are going to drop there prices by 25% after the first of the year.

So I am in no hurry to buy.

Just kidding Dave.:)~})
