It trys to snow in Mn.but never accumilates good luck with snow plowing I did not think there was a lot of money to be made. If it is profitable for you good luck and have fun.I like to see us ham and eggers making a go of things.

Here in Youngstown, Ohio we've got 2.5" down, and it's suppose to snow all week long.

Nothing like playin in the snow with your tractor!

I checked out my plow last week (it was in good shape) but out here in Oregon it was 65 today, not real good for a snow removal buisness.Good luck hope you guys get to fly!

i plow in columbus ohio and live 40 miles away it pays good money to plow. i have done it for 5 years. i plow a lot of big lots. on a 2inch snow fall i will get 15 hrs

Bought a CaseIH and found a used Westendorf loader to put on it. Ordered the correct mounts on Friday and can pick them up at the Factory in Iowa on Thursday. So don't really want any snow here in S. Mn. for another week.

I just went with my brother on Saturday to go pick up a 2nd truck for a plow. He's got a plow on his 2003 F350, but now he's got a few more clients so he bought a 92 F150 and he's gotta findsome mounts for an old Western plow (my plow, no mounts) or find a whole plow to put on yet.

Dropped it off at the shop to get the brakes fixed- Popped a line before he even got to drive it, but the price was right at $600.

Took this pic last year. Still farming here in southern Mn, but will have to check out the plows soon. I take care of our local township with about 25 miles of gravel roads. The Oshkosh is a '72 with Cat. diesel, 5&4 tranny, with plow and 12 ft. side wing, and hyd. sander. I have some hilly areas and the 4x4 comes in real handy.

My brother's neighbour has a front plow-mounted Farmall (I've never seen it) with rubber tracks on the back end for snow plowing. He claims the machine has never bogged down in any snowstorm. Anyone have pics of that type of setup?
We had 1" of snow 2 weeks ago; melted away; we've got another 1" and another 1" to come today. Just the tip of the iceberg... Last winter we closed in on 9 ft by mid April.

mn dave thats a big plow nothing like that in ohio.i plow with k3500 chevy and f350. c8 meyers blades just pu trucks
