Well, if its in sandy soil and you dont disc too deep and use a low gear lol

My brother has an 1155 that he bought new. He really likes it.

In your situation you may find it necessary to throw a set of chains on at least the outside duals though. :)
 
Make sure all the lights work before you drive it to the bar, wouldn't want to get pulled over on the way home because you have a light out.

Used one just like it this spring with a 24' field cultivator ....not too far from you...I am up in lapeer co, arent you down by richmond/armada???? Shawn
 
Yes im just east of Armada....you dont want to know the cost...soooo cheap it was sickning. all new tires 2800 origional hrs everything works . $3100
 
What is the story on the purchase? Auction? Dealer? Farmer? Why so cheap?

What year is it? What PTO HP rating?

Oh boy is Kirk going to be jealous! Nice looking big MF. I talked with a former mechanic who worked directly for MF(not a dealer)and later part time at a dealer since he was retired from MF. He said the V-8's rev higher than the smaller Perkins and would last longer if they were throttled down just a little. He also said that they'd had some problems with the injection pumps but putting a good fuel/water seperator on them in the beginning solved all the problems. If you're sick of it already, I'm sure you'd have a long line up to take it off your hands. LoL Dave
