In the wars the soldiers spoke in terms of distance. My question is " how far is a click"? Whats the distance? Thanks in advance! D.G.

From MILTERMS.COM
Military slang purported to have developed during the Vietnam war;"click"(also spelled "klick") refers to one kilometer.

Or 5/8ths of a mile. 55 miles equals 88 kilometers. I remember that from the last attempt to force the metric system on us.

A click is a kilometer (1000 meters).

At least you did not get an answer in time when you asked distance really agravets me how some people can be so stupid if you ask how far a place is and they say so many minutes or hours. I usrallyask if thats on a jackBUTT ( kim stopped the real name) flying jet ,prop or just what, could be on an ih M or my old CC Case.

May as well learn some basic metric. The rest of the world uses it and do you expect the rest of the world to offer non metric users any favors?

I remember it this way since we travel at 100 km/h on the highway... and that equates to 63 mph.

Advertisers mate, the bigger the better. would you like to buy 100 acres or 40 hectares?
the 100 acres because its bigger, but only in appearance.
Notice a new car is JUST $32,990 but in some stores you can get a MASSIVE 10% discount.
