I Have An Engineering Question

Yesterday in the morning Dixie put on a big pot of ham and beans in the crock pot. They slow cooked all day until around seven last evening. It was all a good dark brown in color. She decided that corn bread would be a good addition to the beans. She also thought that I would like the south west cabbage with the rotell tomatoes and chilies to top it off. She was correct, it was tasty and I stuffed myself. We had leftovers for lunch today and this evening as well.

What is a simple way to store and convert methane gas to heat the house?

I'm a guessin if you can read this it must not be all that bad. I will also go with the assumption you have your laptop out in your work shop to read this? IF not

Want to give her the message of not to do agains? Throw the covers over her head as she sleeps. My friend used to do this and brag till she tossed her partualy digested lunch in his face (as he laughed).... face up in the bed. Not so funny in his eyes anymore. One of his bad habits got broke that night.

Hope the potty chair relay races don't keep you up all night. NO NEED TO REPORT BACK!

Simple...always carry a light. Gas plus flame equals instant blast of heat. Store it as long as you can and then let'r rip. Gas masks may be required though and you might get a few dirty filters. Dave

Pass this along to your wife - bring the beans to a hard (fast) boil for about 10-15 minutes, then turn down the heat and slow-cook. Some people cut up a potato and drop it in, then remove when its done. I do both. It will eliminate that which causes the methane gas.

Don't know if this works on cabbage.

Did something similar for bean pot- boil 5 minutes, set 5 minutes, then drain, rinse twice, then cook with fresh water, chopped up onions, peppers, and meat about 2 hours. Slow cook recipe book says soak/rinse beans before cooking. Methane use- Chinese low pressure lagoon/septic tank system can use the gas for cooking and hot water heating. Direct use - a note on use of lighter when farting indicates cotton underwear doesn't burn like nylon. This from article about what some people in Texas do after a chili and beer party at Texas A&M.
