Yep, I've been expecting to see it snow in the Northeast any time now. The wood furnace sure is keeping the house nice and toasty!

Yes sir.
I brought the Ficus plant in from on the deck last night. And took the air conditioner out of the kitchen window.
Haven't fired up the furnace yet but the oven is getting used more. Navy beans and a ham hock in it tonight. Utilizing the same heat twice -

It will get around 38 tonight. I have the indoor wood furnace going, nice and toasty here!

yep, froze my A$$ off sitting in the stands for the Homecoming football game tonight- cold, wet, but a great game and daughter was 1st runner up.

Bon fire weather- I guess all the kids will be hanging out behind the house now setting fire to everything they can gather. I least I know where they are on Fri/ Sat night.

Yup,its 32 degrees this morning here in upstate New York.Its opening day of bow season.Will be in my stand in about 30 mins.They wont peak rut here till around halloween.But thats ok, sure is pretty out there.Stay warm now!!!

Scotty, I was up in New Hampshire back in July of '95 and those black flies were a pain. I asked how they put up with em and my friend said"they're not bad now you should a been here a couple of weeks ago.
Man I couldn't endure that every day, just give me the South,
Home sweet home.
