Tractor Prices......

I still see the same old high priced tractors, over and over and they never lower their prices.
I guess it is like fishing, you just keep casting until you catch one. The neighbor has a nice looking SMTA up for sale. they tried it on an Ebay auction and it stalled at $4500. Mind you now they refused $4500 for it. They are asking $9000. Is that nuts or what??????

Just like you said they are fishing.

They really don't need to sell but if someone offers what they are asking they will sell.

No one needs a MTA they all just want a MTA.

I have a MTA as well but I bought mine 20 years ago to use. If someone wants mine for $9000 I would sell it and go buy a $2000 M to USE.

Put the shoe on your foot if you did not need to sell your MTA would you take $4500 or wait just incase someone wants to pay you $9000

I saw a John deere B on craigslist relisted time and time again he wanted 2100 for it it said open to any offers missing lights and not a real good paint job I offered him 1500 he lambasted me with insults I told him he wont sell that tractor with that attitude, guess what he still has it.

Either that or they're looking for substantial profit, or no sale, regardless if they use it or not.

When I "need" to sell a tractor I price it accordingly and can usually have it gone in about a week. At the same time, I always have one or two "for sale" that will likely not be leaving the barn anytime soon unless someone really wants them. Keeps the wife happy to know that one could go at any time if the price is right. I can also say that every now and again someone will really want one and the tractors have been a better return than my IRA. This board just seems to be full of the same folks anymore listing the same equipment or new finds. Dont really find new people that have just discovered the website asking about some ads, usually always the same folks. Its a small tractor world!

I have seen a pink AC on here for several post's never has a price, so I must assUme its big bucks.
I think there just fishing with out the ice during the winter.

All depends on the buyer. If its what they want and willing to pay.

If you don't need, and don't want, you don't care.
