Local Case IH dealer's son got married Saturday afternoon. This is the vehicle he used to take his bride from the church to the reception which was about a block away.

Nice tractor. My brother in law and his fiance want a tractor in their wedding. She is a North Dakota John Deere loving farm girl, he is a central MN Farmall loving farm boy. Wonder which color it's gonna be. I am giving him my 1946 "H" for a wedding gift. I just never use it, and everytime he comes over he finds some reason he needs to drive it.
 
my high school my senior prom, there was a tractor, hearse, combine, grain truck and heicopter. this was the grand prminade entrance to the beginning of prom.
 
Here's my son's escape vehicle. A 1949 JD B that he restored while he was in highschool. Along with a old hay wagon made from a '30' Chevrolet truck frame. Put a picnic table on the wagon, and took the whole wedding party 3 miles to the reception. (That's me on the tractor!) Tractor belonged to his great Uncle, wagon to his grand-dad. Said he wanted to include them in his wedding somehow. (they're deceased.)

Got a call from a funeral director a while back, family wanted a JD A to be included in the funeral festivities. Story was that the deceased lady had hitch-hiked to the Deere factory to get a tractor. During war time, and she NEEDED the tractor for her husband. Story continues that folks at Deere found one at a dealer, and sent her home by train. She rode in the truck when tractor was delivered.
Tractor/wedding
 
A friends father died who recently bought his first new tractor. The Funeral passed his house where they had the new New Holland Tractor at the end of the Driveway saluting my friends Father with its front Bucket high in the air. Brought tears to everybodys eyes.
