i heard there is a lawsuit pending or something of this nature about the ford 6.0 powerstroke diesel engine anyone else heard anything about it. thanks RICK

Rick, I sure hope so. My son has a 2006 F450 with that pos 6.0L He's gone through many injectors, a turbo and an oil cooler and his brother just called as he's broken down again along side the road. They had a 7.3 before and sure would like to have it back. BTW, the 6.0 only has a little over 250,0000 klms on it.

Youd be better off and money ahead to just trade it off. Sure their are individuals trying to sue Ford, and I can see their point to do so.Id be pretty POed as well. If people simply researched before going out and spending that kind of money, then the ywould have known the 6 leaker was junk out of the box. Even IH said it wasnt ready yet, but Ford wanted so they shipped it. Funny thing is, when IH started using it, the ydidnt have problems.

got 150,000 mi on my "03 6.0 and NOT ONE major issue.
