3388 - 3588 - 3788

I was wondering if the transmissions and rear ends were the same in all the 2 + 2 models? Did they all have 466 cu. in. engines?

No, the 3788 had a three speed and the 466 .The 3588 had a four speed and i believe the 436 and on the 3388 it also had the four speed but not sure on the engine size on that on 414 or the 436.

3388 was the same as a 1086.

You're correct on the trans but 33 had a 436 35 & 37 had the 466

Seems to me, based on some info I read that the 33 had the 436 and the 35 had the 466...
