Cab Insulation or sound -proofing.

nnalert has kits for lots of different cabs, and the aerosol glue. I got one once and was very satisfied.

I'm not sure where you're located but we have a "Surplus Center" in my city which carries cab insulation which looks very like original equipment. My dad used to call it "Army Surplus Center", but they have very little "Army" stuff anymore. Otherwise you could inquire at a good upholstery shop where to go.

For "Glue" I would use an adhesive which you apply to both surfaces, let dry for about ten minutes, and then put the surfaces together. It is similar in principle to tire patch adhesive. It will stick instantly and be very permanent.

for the adhesive, use 3m super trim adhesive part number 08090. real strong trim adhesive, comes in an aerosol can. dont use the contact cement (like red devil brand) the solvents will eat paint.

Beside implement dealers check local HD truck or construction equipment dealers too. cabinsulation dot com or fehrcab dot com
