Indiana harvest pics

Here's some shots from last Friday. What a great October day. Got to even spend some time with my daughters riding with me in the 2188. All the beans are done and half way through the corn. This farm's yield was pleasantly surprising. This smaller lower field is well drained dark soil. Hauled 2200 bushel off just this side. Had to come back down to earth the next day, got to clean up the sewer back up in the rental house's basement on this farm. Funny how everything always equals out.

You must be in Northern Indiana, our leaves here in the Southern part are not turning colors yet.

This is some bottoms near a fork of the Wildcat Creek in Tippecanoe county. The nitrogen that was put down was ESN and has seemed to work great. Cost some more, but I believe it stayed around on this lighter ground and fed the plant over time. I don't think you'll believe me, but the 22 acres made 215 dry bu/ac on average. I couldn't believe it. There were spots where the monitor said 285. Here's some pics of getting the 2255 into the mix. Their might even be a 1850 running an auger soon. Oh, you're going to need to wait awhile for these girls to be dating age. Their 4,2 and 1 month old.
