OT--dodge transmission buzz

just got a 1988 dodge pickup. Can hear a buzz from the the transmission. Thinking hydraulic buzz. Could it be just clogged filter?

Vacuum module making a noise??????????

No vaccuum modulator on that one.

When do you here the buzz?? In gear, in park or neutral, only in reverse??

They were noted for a reverse buzz, if that`s it then nothing to worry about.

If it's anything like my 98 Grand Caravan - it buzzes when shifting, as the shift solenoids just plain make noise when it shifts gears.

If it is a constant buzzing, I can't help - but the folks over at allpar.com sure do know Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep products pretty well.
