OT: Finaly, fuel prices are going down.

Still only 3.99 a gallon for diesel here in Balaton MN. But its better than 4.35+ a gallon.
Just paid 20 bucks for 5 gallons Diesel.
What are fuel prices like around you guys?
 
Gas is 2.97 in medina and about 3.15 in ashland a gallon.
Its so sad we are brainwarshed to think that 3 bucks a gallon is a good deal
 
$1.199/litre for regular, $1.260 for Supreme, and ~$1.30 for Diesel in the Windsor area as of last night. On a trip to Montreal, recently, I filled up the rental car in Kanawake (Native land) for $1.149 a litre...while the car was being filled (full serve!!), the guy washed all the windows, checked and topped up the oil (despite my 'screw that, it's a rental' remark), and threw in a booklet of coupons to a fast-food joint.

In Michigan......

Gasoline-----$3.25 a gallon lowest I see now.

Diesel-----$3.99/gallon as high as $4.20/gallon.
 
Just got 200 gal yesterday of farm diesel, B11, delivered to farm in western Ill. $3.48/gal plus $2.64 tax. $698.64-$10.00 if paid in 10 days. Wrote the check out tonite, mail tomorrow. Chris
 
Hey Joe, those towns seem familiar to me. We're 7 or 8 miles west of Medina. I'm in that town all the time seems like. I go to Ashland every year for their annual farm toy show in December. Fun time when the weather behaves.

Fuel is 3.199 at the local station as of yesterday.
 
Heard on the news that price of crude had dropped to what it was 8 months ago. So why haven't gas prices dropped to what they were 8 months ago? Pardon my cynacism.
 
Gas was $3.35 last week and is now $3.15 and
diesel is $3.99 in RI. It's been going down
at a steading rate.
 
it will not last just making every one happy before elections. next summer it will be 5.00 easy any one want to bet? funny how everyone was car pooling at 4.00 and now the park and rides are empty. back to wasting
 
Gas here is1.139 and diesel is 1.20. It's a difference from 1.399 gas and 1.459 diesel but it's still not cheap!
 
I was just talking to a friend this past weekend that works for a major oil company. We were talking about resent surveys and research the company had done on the street price of fuel.

While they felt the breaking point had been reached at about $3.75 the falling economy is driving the price lower now.

One day you guys will realize that the price of most stuff including gas is set by what you will pay and not on what it cost to make it.

Look at the Windows program on your computer and how much money Bill Gates has. You think he made all that money from selling things based on what it cost to produce???????
 
He must be in Canada, Those prices look like they'd be for liters. Here, the Diesel ranges $4.25 to $4.79 a gallon.
