Wife came home from town today and said gas is now $2.989 and a week ago it was $3.599. Go figure whats going on with the prices jumping around so much

I am now paying $3.39/gallon for gas and $3.98 for diesel. I think that because of the election the crooks at the oil companies figured that they should lower the price until after the election.

Tryv to keep yourself and everyone you know to continue reducing the amount of stuff they do that uses gas. If we keep lowering the demand it may continue. It is still $1 too high. i also would be prepared to do some prebuying as soon as it looks like the price is gonna shoot up , post election.

I am staying in a Ronald Mcdonald house across the street from
Erlanger Hosp in Chattanooga Tn. taking radiation for cancer. Here the gasoline is still 3.99 and is in short supply Many stations closed this week. It costs about 45$ rountrip home so I just stay here. Traffic here is very light. I cant tell you how great this place is or how wonderful the hospital is herre. Henry

Our local NBC station reported that yesterday, in Council Bluffs Iowa, a gas war broke out and went down as far as $2.829 for a time! If I recall, it was back at $2.899 at news time (10 pm). Greg

Henry, Hope all goes well with the treatment. I been there, went through 7 weeks before operation and a long while after. My Son and D.I.L. spent a week in Ronalds house in Fargo ND while their daughter was having surgery. Blessings on the People who support them and on you too. Bob

There is a big difference in America's driving habits. There has been a huge switch from big 4x4s to small front wheel drive cars around here. I know I have drastically cut down on my unnessesary trips. No more just riding around in the evenings to see deer and stuff like I used to. I also hunted in rifle season out behind my parent's house for the first time last year instead of driving to my favorite hot spots.

To be honest with you, back a couple of months ago when gas fell under $4 a gallon, it seemed like such a relief. For awhile there it seemed gas was only going up up up. Gas prices were setting new record highs each and every day.

Its been going up & down a lot. Today here in MN, gas is $3.20 per gallon, cheapest it has been in a long time. It has been going down a few cents a day lately, but it could go up any time.

It was 3.80 one day, then the next it was 3.49, now its 3.22, and a week later it will be 4.00.

we're stuck at $3.559 here, road diesel is around $4.279.
