Scoop on IH 240U

I see a 240U for sale and was wondering how reliable they are, do they have any known weaknesses or strengths? I was wanting to blow snow and pull a finishing mower but maybe I need more HP. The asking price on this one is $3000. Is that about right?

i have a 240u and am real happy with the tractor. has a fast hitch. pulls a 6 ft bush hog no problem. nice low center of gravity too. my rear tires are loaded with chloride. easy on fuel too.

I paid about $3700 for mine. It was pretty worn and came with a loader and brush hog. I think they are great tractors. The front ends are the weak points.
