What is the going rate for molboard plowing
in Southeast Minnesota?

Wow, just wow. I'd have all my fields plowed if someone would do it for 14$ an acre. I'd bet on closer to 40$ an acre here.

When fuel prices are factored in, it's almost $40 per acre already!

How do you figure that? A 6-18 plow will easily do 3 acres per hour, and the tractor should do that on 6 gallons of diesel per hour. That's 2 gallons per acre, or less than $8.
