80 / 90 gear oil price ?

Changing rear end and trans gear oil in an antique tractor and about fell over when the lowest price I could get is $70.00 per 5 gal. I use 80 / 90, anybody use something else ? I bought some about 2 years ago at $32.00 per 5 gal. WOW !!!!!!

for the old tractors, i pick up oil at farm and fleet, big r's, tractor supply, the mystic brand is in the 30-40 dollar range. even their bargain oil is much better than what was on the market when the tractors were new.

Advance auto had it for $39.95 last month,,, I stocked up,,, I was shocked that 90wt was $70 for 5 gal.,,, its hard to give 90 wt away

I just called AAP and the price was $47 for 5 gal.,,, I offered 38.95 they took me up so I cleaned them out,,, I feel that $70 is gouging for sure,,, gear oil does not sell like gas,,, for the most part it sets on the shelf till its needed and not in high demand,,, next chance you git play the cost match game wif chain stores like Advance and autoZone,,, they will cut each others throat,,, they will loose money to cost the other a sale
