I am having a hard time with my zenith float. When i turn the engine over the gas pours out the carb and she wont start.I rebuilt the carb so i know its not the needles. Does anyone know is it the float or something else. The float is not sticking when i reassemble it. Thanks in advance.

Did you check to see if the float really floats, or it may have a small pin hole in it which allows it to fill with gas and sinks. BTDT

Does the carb "run over" while the tractor is just sitting with the gas turned on?

If NOT, your inlet needle and seat an float are OK.

If the gas just pours out while cranking, you are choking it too much, the carb is mis-adjusted, or not assembled properly. (Wrong jets, missing jets, or jets swapped around.)
