water level finally dropped, ground is starting to dry up. time will tell, been about 5 days since the water dropped, no mold in the pods yet. about half of this field was under water, you can see the water line in the field

these dont look so good here, got beat down hard.

and here is something you dont see everyday. that is a wooden wire spool out in the beanfield, milkcrate, coffee cup, and some odds and ends still on it. lot of debris in the field, limbs, logs, boards ect. combine aint gonna like them too much.

How long was the water on the beans?

If less than 3 days or so i bet they didn't get hurt to much.

They will be dirty to combine but most of the beans will be there.

If they would have been at harvest moisture and swelled back up for to long then there would be problems.

water came up last friday, they were prolly under water from saturday till tuesday. i checked them again today, didnt seem to bad but still pretty good moisture in them. we may try and combine the end of this week and run em in the dryer. corn is gonna be tough tho, there is a lot of debris that got washed in the fields, tree limbs branches boards ect. gonna have to walk some rows and clean em out.
