So I saved another one from the scrap man. Its a 194? Farmall B engines locked up, rear tires would be ok if it wasn't for the weather checking sheet metal is pretty good. So now I have one more thing to work on. Oh well at least its not going to be cut up

Good work Rich. I got one out of a parts yard, and took one away the junk man at an auction last week. Up around #80 now.

Hello Old did the same thing about a year ago still have to go get them 3 H's and aB with exhuast lift and cultivator. Boco

I have a hard time justifying 4 tractors at "our" place. Can't imagine having 36., and 80 would probably certify me as insane. Keep savin those tractors.....gobble

I don't know how you do it. Around here, most abandoned tractors left in the field to rot are owned by someone who doesn't ever, ever want to let them go, and when they finally do, they're seen hauling it off to the scrapper... and I make good offers, the scrap man makes pathetic offers.

Keep up the good work.

A man can't have too many tractors or too much tractor storage space.

Ooohhh yeeeaahhh... I know some guys that are as bad as the cat hoarders you see on the news. They have 3-400 tractors rusting away in their field and consider them "saved" only maybe 10 run with any margin of reliability, they won't part with any of them because they are their "investments"

Shoot I could not live with just 4. I use more that that to do the hay each year. 1 for cutting, 2 or 3 for raking and 2 or 3 for baling and thats a slow year

Most of the ones I find are owned by old people and when they find out that I will never sell one as scrap they give me good deals on them and I will never ever sell one for scrap. Before one will sell for scrap on my place it will be used as a fence for the horses

How come it takes so many? I have 1200 A of corn and 5000 pigs and have 4 tractors--all stored inside, all in great condition, and all earning their keep nearly daily. We meet a significant payroll, and pay PLENTY of taxes. Do you know the REAL cost of having so many?

How could you not take something like (or something that COULD look like ) this home. Just like a beagle puppy.

Keep it up. I wish I had the space and time to play with a few myself.

The simple reason for so many is so that they do not end up being cut up for scrap. better then 75% of what I have run and are used from time to time the other 25% are parts tractors but tha is still better then cutting them up for scrap
