Need to kick my own behind,.

I think I let a tractor sell way too cheap at auction. Case 2390, engine just rebuilt. The tranny is slipping, at least the seller is honest on it. Only brought $1950.00 I think I could have spent another 3000 and got rid of my 1370 and came out ahead. Also need to kick my rear for not buying a Bush Hog disc mower, 9 foot, canvas and blades in good to excellent shape. All turned by hand thru the PTO shaft. My bid would have been $1000. It sold for 950. Other thing I need to have my a$s kicked for is what I did buy after I let the disc mower get away, bought a Gehl 9 ft MO-CO for 800. Didn't see the one big problem it had until after I bought it, as mentioned B4 I ran by hand the PTO shafts. I was watching the sprockets all move along with proper wobble box action. I did NOT see that some linkage to the cutterbar needs welded, DOUG

Wouldnt let myself get too worked up about it...seems that it is the things we buy that we shouldnt that hurt us the most.

HEY DOUG I SEEM TO END UP THE SAME PERDICERMENT EVERY TIME; I USUALLY HAVE A TOP PRICE WITH SOME CUSHION BUILT IN BUT THEN JUST STAND THERE AND LET IT GO''' THEN THINK TO MYSELF IF THAT WAS 4 SALE IN SOMEBODYS BARN I WOULD NOT HAVE APROBLEM PAYING WHAT IT SOLD FOR AT AUCTION;;; INDESISIVE I GUESS BUT THEN AGAIN IF I BOUGHT ALL THE STUFF I LATER THOUGHT I SHOULD HAVE, I'D BE DOUBLE BROKE?$$$$

If you would have bought the tractor and the bush hog you would have found a bunch of problems with them too. Don't beat yourself up about it. That's an extra $3000 you have in your pocket now

There is no guarantee the buyer would not have gone to 5. spilt milk, never cry over it.
other opportunities will arise.

I call that un-buyers remorse. When I look at the weeds in my front ditch I am still reminded of a Super A with a balanced head mower I let pass. I'm too old to kick myself so I just sit on a shoe for while.

If it had transmission problems, I wouldn't kick myself too hard- transmission repairs can get really spendy. It probably wouldn't have been a bargain by the time you got it fixed.

Case powershift transmissions are getting hard to find parts for... just about down to junkyard parts for repairs.
