John Deere 540 Skidder engine question

The problem occurs when this skidders engine warms up. Antifreeze.Rad fluid is forced back through the rad and out the overflow.

When checked regularly there is no appearance of antifreeze in the oil to suggest a head gasket problem.

What is going on here? How can it be repaired?

If you can check it while it is running look for bubbles in the radiator fluid. That would confirm a head gasket problem - things don't always go both ways.

Well , If you don"t find an obvious problem with the head gasket , you might have to do cylinder liners..All diesels are known for "erosion" of the cylinder walls from the coolant side of the liner..This erosion actually eats away the cylinder liner so compression gets into the coolant and coolant goes to the crankcase..
