Ford hinges

I have a Ford 600 with a broken hood hinge. Having trouble finding a replacement without replacing the entire hood. Anybody know who might sell the original type hinges?

those are called piano hinges & they are pretty common. Anyway, that is the name to ask about or search for.

I'll take issue with 2 x 4. I believe the hinges used on a 600 are identical to the ones on my NAA and mine sure aren't piano hinges. You might try nnalert (ph. # 1-800-476-9653). They are now offering complete replacement hoods (or will be soon) for 1953 thru 1964 Fords and might have the hinges you need.

Have to agree with RSCO, they definitely aren't piano hinges. No luck on e-bay but I'll try Dennis Carpenter.
