You must have your "own web site to down load the pictures of things to". Then you follow instructions on here for downloading it to your posted area here.
Sometimes you can get a friend who has a web site to post your pic's to and draw from there. Hope this helped you out.

To just post the pictures on the internet is not terribly hard. If you want to post the picture in a forum message, it takes a bit more work, but is simple enough with practice.

The image first has to be on the internet. You can use Photobucket as someone has already suggested, or you can put the image in one of the photo galleries on this site, left side of your page.

1. Click on the link to the gallery which you want to add the picture to. A list of the photos in the gallery should come up.

2. Click on the "Add Your Photo" near the top of the page.

3. A page should come up asking about your photo. Simply fill this out with as much information as you would like to share. The year, make and model portion will show up on the list of photographs, and the description will show up under the picture. Once you've finished that, click on Next Step.

4. A page should come up asking you to select your picture using the browse button. The browse button should open up something similar to My Computer, or My Documents. You then find your picture you want to use on your computer, and click the Open button. This will paste the image address into the bar to the left of the browse button.

5. Click the submit button. As the website says, it could take a while depending on the size of your picture and the speed of your internet, so be patient. Once it loads, the picture should show up under the gallery, and is now posted on the internet for all to see, if I remembered how to post pictures correctly.

6. To post the image into a message, first find the picture you want to use.

7. Once you can see the picture, you need to use the URL. Now PAY ATTENTION here, because this is where most problems begin. The URL you want is not what you see in the address bar at the top of the page. Instead, right click on the picture itself. When the right click menu comes up, click on properties, at the bottom of the menu.

8. A new box should open up, listing the properties of the picture. About midway down should be the image address. That is the URL that you want. Copy that URL from the image properties into the Optional Image URL space when you are posting your message.

9. Once you've finished writing your message, click on preview. Make sure your picture shows up. If it doesn't show up in the preview, it won't show up when you post. If you did everything correctly, then you should have a nice posting with a picture.

Feel free to try it out, and if you need more help, I'm sure someone else can chime in.
