Is this tractor worth the money?

Just a quick question. I'm looking at a 1976 Massey Ferguson 265 with loader, 3pt, pto and aux hydrolics. Seems to be in real good condition but not sure if it's worth 7000.00. Any advice? Thanks Bill

A 265 is a good tractor. $7000 seems reasonable for a loader tractor in good shape. How many hours, what kind of loader? 165's in real good shape will sell for that and a 265 is 60 PTO H.P. compared to about 52 on a 165. A new loader for a 60 H.P. tractor is probably $5000 or more. Dave
