hey lanse where is brookville i am near newconcord i dont have any work for you but was just wondering where you are from RICK

i dunno where we are since i cant drive (but i can get transportation) but we're down in the dayton area.

Hey I'm over in Suburbia (Fairborn) where I go to Wright State I wouldn't mind helping out with the harvest myself.

Two years ago I was combining and a young lad followed me into the field off the road.

I thought oh great, another guy wants to hunt.

He came up and introduced himself and wondered if I needed any help.

I told him jump in the combine with me and we will talk.

He started the next day.

He was looking for work also while going to college. He grew up on a large farm in NW Iowa.

His dad told him to get in his car and drive out in the country and look for a combine sitting still with the wagons gone. He did and it worked.

One of the best helpers I have ever had.

I guess what I am trying to say is go out and look for someone who looks like they need help.

Gary

His dad gave him some good advice there, I'm always wary of anyone who comes looking for a job in the afternoon, was always told get your behind up early make calls or show up early when looking for a job.

Gary I'll be right there to help ! I 'm needing a tractor time /combine time fix bad . Wait ,,,wife says i need to finish Buddies flooded house , get my garage built ,and addition on house built , THEN I can play . Geesh she ruins everything ,,lol .

Well fellars I live in Springfield, Ohio and I know most of the big operators around here and the big problem is most of them have changed their operation to where they have gone to one or two big combines and trying to keep their help to a minimum you might try Haerr Farms father sons they run three 12 row Deere bines or Berner Farms brothers which is all Massey if not you may have to go to Greene county and the Pitsticks they are huge and do a lot of bunk silo filling which I saw on U-tube plus a huge hog operation. Your best bet is from South Charleston in to Madison county alot of big operators over there. I would check with some of the Implement dealers and Southwest Landmark for some suggestions. Good Luck CT
