Live internet in tractor and combine cabs

Not that I know of. I am dreaming of the day high speed wireless internet will be availible in vehicles. I am not talking about going online while driving, but it sure would be handy to have internet access where ever you are.
 
Several ways to do it. First an air card for your cell phone provider. Or a data plan on your phone with a data cable for the computer.
Next way is to do wireless internet via extended range routers set near windows. I can get 1/4 mile with mine in a second story window.
Last way is to do wireless internet through a service provider, not as common as the rest, but possible depending on your location.
 
A lot of us farmers get the markets sent to us
thru text messages on our cell phones several
times a day.
 
Sure. Use it everyday. My phone has full internet access and allows me to check the markets, weather forecast, radar pictures and anything else I need to right from the field. Very helpful.

Actually, I was thinking about a premanent in-the-cab mounted factory option.

However, cell phones are handy and that technology most likely has already surplanted anything that would be "in-the-cab".
 
Yea!, sounds great, althrough I won't be in the market for a new car anytime soon. I got to get through college first and get the money rolling in as a certified 8 track repairman.

Amazing how much stuff is in cars already.
 
You might want to get certified in casette player repair, as well- I've heard that 8 tracks may be on their way out. . .

tick with AM radio. It seems to never go out of style. But who? are those people tuning in??????? David...........
 
I know that would be handy for me. I could see how much money I was losing while feeding the cattle. I could watch my stocks go down and the price of beef go down at the same time. Lots of fun!
