Thanx Buzz man 72

Dad fought His way through the S.Pacific in amphibious tanks , Wounded twice and was burned real bad on Saipan .
Trouble Is We are having trouble Getting Graveside 21 gun salute , other Committments , Everyone Is going Out of Town ,, And I feel like Grabbing SomeOne..No one is answering phones or reeturning calls ,, SHEEESH !!!

Great news. You father deserves all the respect in the world. It was men like him that gave us the freedoms that so many take for granted.

My hat is off for your father for his service. Locally and probably most places the rifle salute is preformed by unpaid volunteers. With the aging of our Veterans, that pool is drying up. Weather or not you are a Vet, there is probably something any of us can contribute to help support the firing squad tradition, money, transportation of older volunteers or anything along these lines.

Jim, I had faith in the folks of Harrison County...especially those folks from the Elizabeth/Laconia area. Glad to hear they plan to come through, in honor of your dad and his service to our country. He deserves no less.

Our prayers continue to be with you and the family at this difficult time.
