if this works thats me and a 59 1/2 inch long diamondback rattler i shot fer trying to claim the truck in the background, i posted this on the 928n board a few weeks ago, its redneck, we got a live redneck guy holding a dead snake in front of a old flatbed truck with his huntin dog in the shot too, what do y'all think

Well, I dunno...

Truck's too shiny.

Beard's too well kept.

No litter or junk in immediate area.

And, as already mentioned, no beer in the shot.

hey jim im in glenco, about 50 miles west of roswell on us 70, umm, we got a gravel pit and a post office... mini office? just some small farms and a few large ranches around here

Not near enough dogs in the picture,trucks in too good a shape,no major appliances in the vicinity,but you could be in the back yard,so I guess its redneck enough.One less snake too,I like it.Really kind of need that beer in there,but the bed of that truck could have lots of empty cans.

Hi eric,

When we moved too AZ, I had off loaded some boxes onto the ground and covered them up with a tarp. So I got around to finaly putting the contents away in the storage building and you guessed it, there was a 2.5ft rattler under a box, so I got my trustee .22 out and put 5 rounds into the head.

I gots the bright idea for a pic to send too the guys back home of the great white Arizona hunter.

I told the wife to grab the camera while I do a pose much like yourself but I added one pistol cross ways in my pants and another pistol cross ways in the other side, slung one rifle sling over each shoulder and told the wife I'm ready.

Kids watching, I hold the rattler near his tail, guns all tucked in, wifes aligning the camera, and BAM the snake flips up and hits me in the left shoulder.

As the vermit is flying thru the air, it never once occured to me that I had just put 5 rounds into the head.

That is a big one all right. Here in Calif it is against the law to kill a rattle snake. Our local tree huggers at work.

State of Washington passed an anti-trapping law a few years back- makes it illegal to trap moles in your yard. I asked the Sheriff if they're enforcing it- He laughed and said they had actually had a couple of calls, from guys trying to turn in their neighbor for mole trapping. He said he told one to mind his own business, and the other that he apparently has too much free time on his hands and needs to take up a hobby.
