Steering wheel repair

I have a steering wheel on a cub cadt 100 garden tractor that I not sure what to do with. It sat outside for awhile at one time apparently and the finish on the steering wheel is bad. I'm getting tired of haveing black hands every time I drive it. How to I fix this? its in good shap other than that. Thanks. Mike.

myself i would find some black tape, but im sure theres something more correct

Tape it off and spray it with some flat black spray paint.

My Farmall 140 does the same thing but I have lived with it for 35 years. It is stored inside and you would think it would stop comming off at some point but it never does.

I used Krylon paint made for plastic garden furniture, came out great !!

i have painted several after repairing with black lacquar in the spray can, you can put on as many coats as you wish. works for me.

fix cracks and pits with JB weld, then paint. It'll last for years

Devcon (a product of Loctite) that fills in the cracks and is sandible then paint over it like they said I'm taking notes because I need to do this with my AC5020 this winter.
