Then there's the global economy. If we drill for oil everywhere, what keeps that oil in the US market. Looks like out electric bills will go up because they're selling the coal out from under our feet.
The news says topical storm Fay made land fall 4 times. If it doesn't ever stop raining and the storm doesn't leave land, then there's no more returning to land. If you count the eye, which I've never heard of in a TS, it's still only two times. My count is one.
