we need fay!

We here in dry gulch, err, South Carolina, were really hoping for some drought-busting tropical storms. So Fay comes barreling towards us, gets our hopes up, then makes an erratic left turn that leaves even the weather channel baffled.

And we need rain so bad here. I watched the utilities crew dig a hole about 7 feet deep, nothing but dust all the way down.

If their is anything left after whoever gets it is done with it,we'd apreciate it up here in Michigan too.
 
yea its real dry here in northwest wisconsin we are about 5 inches below normal hope we get some rain soon or i'm going to have to start feeding my winter supply of hay to the cows
 
Please send some to Southern WI too. Apparently, we smell since the rain keeps going around us. Lots of chances, just no follow through.
 
wish i could send you some we were dry here to on the texas gukf coast but it's rained here for three days RR where are you in mich. i grew up in marlette
 
Awful dry here too. Folks starting to sell down the cow herds again. Water restrictions in about a dozen towns now. This is 3 years back to back with severe drought. It ain't looking good at all.
 
I wouldnt think I would ever say this to anyone this year but were I am at in Iowa we are getting real dry to.Earlier this spring I never thought it would quit raining and flooding everything. Well it did quit. It quit for good.Three weeks ago we had 9.5 inches of rain overnight but by noon the next day the water was all gone and I think less then a half inch actually soaked in. We just cant get a break this year, but next year has to be better because it cant get any worse. lol.
 
we could pump you some water to sc live in northeast fl but around the cape had 20 + rain since yesterday fish swimming in the rode may lose a few trees here by thursday night
 
You honestly believed that that thing ws headed our way? YTou should know better by now that our local "weatherman, or woman" will say anything to make themselves look good. Then end uo with mud on their faces when the yare wrong, but wont admit it, just give some other excuse! I quit watching the weather years ago!
 
It will be 1 month this Friday since it rained here. Even the weeds are croaking. 2 years in a row for mid Tennessee. So far this is the driest August in 60 years.
