Just got back, had great time. The show featured the Baker #1. Lots of old Bakers, steamers, Rumelys and every other make you have ever heard of. The show site is easy to get to, and parking was good. It is kinda fun riding in trailer towed by a antique tractor! John Deere in and a super A Farmall out! The show had a nice flea market area. One real interesting spot was a ice cream maker powered by a minature steamer, run by a Amish family, selling ice cream as fast as they could make it. Really great show!!

Yup,just got back. Had the ice cream twice. That was my brother in laws steam engine on the saw mill. I sure did a LOT of walking. It'll take the whole week to recover before Blanchard next week.

Couple questions:

1) What's in Blanchard? another tractor show?

2) Where is Blanchard?

I watched the sawmill demo. Pretty neat.

Did you ever read the storyboard inside that building? About how the job bank guys from Flint built the structure and assembled the big engine inside? Pretty neat.

Just got back from the show.It was real cool to see big old tractors like Bakers,Rumleys and Autmun Taylers pull in the demonstration tractor pull.
Was that a real Case miniature steam engine on that ice cream maker. It sure looked for real even if somebody built it.Mark

Blanchard is another show, located just east of Blanchard, Michigan, between Remus and Mt. Pleasant. Not as big as the Mid-Michigan show, but always interesting. Starts Friday (22nd) and usually has a few steamers and lots of stuff going on. Stop on by if you can.
