I have a 1976 Ford 515 Commercial Tractor which has been starting and running great until we apparently poured some contaminated fuel in the tank. She ran for 10 min, died and hasn't started since.
We have drained the tank and lines, replaced the fuel filter, replaced the fuel and bled the pump. The bleeder on the pump sprays good pressure, but no fuel is getting to the injectors, which I have also tried to bleed. No smoke from exhaust when starting. H E L P ! !! !

I'd take it in sequence then, first loosen the high presure lines coming off the pump and see what happens, when you get good fuel there, then break the lines at the injectors, when you have good fueling there close them up one at a time. It should start, maybe a whiff of starting fluid then if it doesnt and its cranking fast enough.

If it doenst start then its time to start pulling pump and injectors to get them checked out. All it takes is one bad batch of fuel with a little rust in it.

Please forgive for these back-to-basics reminders but; is there only one bleeder, is the engine cranking over good while the injector nuts are loosened, is the engine shutoff knob connected and pushed all the way in, and is the throttle lever in the wide-open position while cranking?

I don't know any specifics on your Ford, but to me it sounds like the diaphragm in your injector pump has broken. If so, you're going to have to take the pump and all the injectors into a diesel shop. They will rebuild the injector pump and test all of the injectors then rebuild those that aren't to spec.

Thank all of you for your kind assistance.
The pump appears to be producing great pressure. There is one bleeder on the pump which when turning the engine over sprays good fuel. Here's the problem...bleeder under pressure....yet there is no fuel getting to the lines coming off the back of the pump...therefore no fuel to the injectors. Yes the kill lever is in the start/run position. I truly believe I have covered most of the basics, but still can't figure this one out.
