Need info. on a White 2-105 tractor. I know little except they have a perkins engine, turbo and are 105 hp. Were they very good tractors, how are they on fuel? How hard are parts to find? Thinking about buying one but cannot find anybody with any knowledge about them in the area. Thanks in advance

I have a 2-85, basically the same tractor without a turbo. I love it, you can find parts at any Agco dealer. You can also find many parts online.

I have heard nothing but good about these tractors. The transmission has a good selection of gears and the cab is nice. Engine can also be turned up a bit if need be. It can be a bit hard to figure out the shift pattern but once you know where the gears are it's not too bad. Not too sure about fuel though. It has a 354 so it wouldn't be too bad I wouldn't think.

I have one and like it. Everythig is power operated so if you loose power or hydrolics you have no pto little brakes and no steering. I have had a few repairs in 20 plus years.Replaced radiator core, water pump, hydrolic pump, seals in the pto. On the plus side its a nimble easy to operate tractor for its power. If you want to you can turn sideways in the seat and still drive something you can't do with many other brands. This is a big plus if you need to watch something behind.

I sure wish I could trade my 2-135 for a 2-105,same year and condition even money. I have an 1850 with the 354 in it. Uses about half the fuel or less. The only thing I'd look for,the early ones didn't have a strong of a differential as the later ones,or so I've been told. More spiders in the later ones I believe.

we have used this model 4 the last 15yrs
very nimbble and easy to manuver, gets the most hrs put on it (dads favorite) shift pattern same as our oliver 1855 ,, the have over and under drive 4 each of the 6 fwd 2 rev speeds ,inter changable pto (with oem extra shaft) 540 0r 1000
look under the radiator and see if the steering cly is leaking, pain to get to, feul tanks are hard to find here in mich$$$, has a 2 piece water pump wich is a real pain in the a$$ 2 change!! ask me how i know ,, i would buy another if i found a good one!!

I have a 2-85. The White"s are excellent tractors. Parts are readily available if you need them. My 2-85 uses 2 gallons of fuel per hour whether I work it hard or not it still uses the same amount
