anyone tell me how to get the axle out of the houseing on the tractor from hell ??? i have the whole thing out and on the floor, can't find any keepers on the bearings but it refuses to come out, need to replace the inboard bearing. thanks

Think there is a large bolt on the inside of the bull gears.

Remove the 4 cap screws and cover from the outboard end of the axle.
Screw the bull gear cap screw in the end of the axle(minus the gear).
Pick up the axle & housing and drop it on the capscrew (axle assembly is vertical).
The axle should slide out of the inner bearing.
