Is anyone going to the Nowthen, MN threshing show this weekend. This years feature is Massey Harris/Ferguson. I will bethere with my '41 Case SC. Tractors of all colors are welcome. Best part is all exhibitors get in free! See info at www.nowthenthreshing.com

Where is Nowthen, MN? I can"t find it on the MN offical highway map. With a name like that, that town deserves a big show. LA in WI
 
Nowthen is located just north of the twin cities metro area between US highways 169 and 65. A couple of larger towns near Nowthen are Elk River to the west and Anoka to the south.
 
Depedning on where you are coming from, the easiest way to get there is get on U.S. Highway 10 (East if coming from Elk River, West if coming from Anoka). Take that to Ramsey BLVD, go right. Take all the way to the T. Take a left. Then take it to the first right after Greenberg Implement, the Case-IH dealer in Nowthen. It will lead you straight to the show on the left. Pretty big show. Lots of activities. I would geuss there should be between 3-500 tractors. I will be there all three days (F,S,Sun). The more the merrier!
 
Forest City is also this weekend, and I think Butterfield or Montevideo as well. VA scheduled me an MRI in MPLS on Saturday, so I'll miss the first day of FC, but it'll be a good excuse to come home through Nowthen. Classmate plays bluegrass there.

Nowthen does show up on the MN official state map. It"s on the Twin City metro blow up on the back side in the upper left corner.
 
Going up to Aitkin on Saturday to mow and was thinking I'd bring the 3000 home on Sunday to figure out what's draining the battery.
Nowthen isn't much out of my way.
Most shows have a vintage class as well as antique don't they?

What's the trouble that you need the MRI Jim?
Them things make me claustrophobic.
I made other plans or I would have come to visit you at the VA while you were waiting.

Last summer I went to Nowthen and Lake Itasca. This summer its been Waukee, Mid Iowa, and Albert City so far. I plan to be at Belmond this weekend, LeSeuer the weekend after that and then Rollag, and maybe the county fair at Madison MN on the way back to Iowa.

So how's that Lake Itasca show then? I've been to LeSeuer and Rollag many times. I'm heading to Nowthen this weekend but I wondered if that Itasca show is a good one on Sunday?

I also have to get to Butterfield one of these years.
