Cut my bahia grass yesterday evening, and low & behold it rained today with the sunshining. You can't win for lose. It didn't rain much, so this evening I windrowed it, and maybe tomorrow after work I will bale it. If the Howells' would have sent us some of that heatwave they were having I would have been baling at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The weather heads on the TV all were saying that the heatwave in the nations mid section was coming, and really I haven't seen the temps materialize here yet.

Sorry to hear that your Bahia got rained on.

We would be more than welcome to send you some heat in exchange for some rain.

Weather lady said we just finished 12 days with over 100<sup>o</sup> heat.

We had a <tt>[b:654c4848f0]"cold front"[/b:654c4848f0]</tt> come throught yesterday with the temperature reaching only 94<sup>o</sup>.

We plan to cut on Saturday morning and bale on Sunday afternoon.

When I was just a sprout and it rained while the sun was shining, my dad would tell me "the devil is spanking his wife with a frying pan". Funny the things parents tell kids.

Anyway, sorry to hear your bahaia got wet. We would gladly send you some heat for rain. We are 5 inches behind for the year and only got .25 for the month of July.

As James said, we've had 12 days straight of over 100 and its going to get back over 100 starting Sat.

That's summer in Tx.
