Where abouts do you live? Here in the upper midwest it would be cultivating corn.....

Plowing corn would be a real bad thing to do 'here'.

In central Indiana back in the day, we referred to it as "plowing corn". I don't think that was considered "upper midwest" however.

Thanks for the vid. Yes, it brings back memories here too, of an A with a four row. Around here the terminology was split 50/50 between 'plowing' and 'cultivating'. Jim

Here it was called plowing corn by the 1930 thru 50's farmers, and in the 70's we started calling it cultivating corn.

So I have heard it called both here in Iowa.
