Prefix and suffix connected with tractor serial number

I need a refresher course in tractor serial numbers. By checking the serial number directory in YT, I know that my Farmall M was manufactured in 1951, but I would like to know what the prefix FBK and suffix X1 refer to. Would appreciate any guidance on this.

Thanks

I believe the FB stood for tractor type, and the K stood for size, (in your case, M) and the X1 meant gasoline engine.

I'm probably way off, going on memory.
