Today i got the C engine back on the C. I got the seal in there, and then the cluch on. I tried to move the flywheel and it wouldnt move, so i tried harder. It gave all of a sudden pinning my hand between the flywheel and the rear cover.

I did manage to get the engine up there and on, and everything seems to be going good sofar. Thanks to the neighbors and the front end loader, its on there now.

So i was admireing my work and noticed this little peice on the ground.

Im not even sure how i did this, as this part of the engine never even touched the ground. Well, this kind of thing takes real talent.

How do i remove the part stuck in the head??

I have an extra head here, so i think theres another peice out there.

easy fix you may want to apply some gentle heat before trying to spin that out with and easy out ,or if you are very careful you could try a left handed drill bit but you need a reversing drill since the bit has to turn backwards . don't sweat it I would be a gazillionare if I had a dollar for everything I broke learning .

Lanse, those are easy to remove but take patience they are soft and will easily chip out. you can also tap a allen wrench in that is larger than the hole in the brass piece (some times it works)other than that the ease out will work but they will also eat away at the brass if not done carefully those ease outs take alot of finesse to work properly.

Lance - If you happen to have a flat bxxtard file about 6-8 inches long with a tapered handle you may want to try it. Drive the tapered end of the handle through the hole in the brass plug until the sides of the handle cut groves in the plug. Then with a crescent wrench placed on the handle close to the plug, turn the file counter clockwise while applying inward pressure on the end of the file. Usually the plug will just screw right out. Use common sense because the file is brittle and can shatter. Good luck. bob farrell

If it's brass and won't come out with a straight fluted easy out then try cutting it before going after it with a chisel. They make small hacksaw blades but you can also get the ones designed for the air "body saws" that have a low height on the end and simply clamp them with a pair of vice-grips. Cut through it in a couple of places til you can see the tops of the threads and then simply knock the pieces out with a chisel.

Looks like the tee that supplies oil to the rockers and governor from the oil pump. That file handle trick works pretty well. be carefull if you use an ez out.
