I just purchased a Ford Tractor The serial # & model # appear to be unreadable. On the engine is stamped 310905 can any one give me an Idea on the model. The hood decal says 2000 industrial. The hood emblem says industrial. the transmission is a 4 speed with a hi lo lever on the right side. Thank you

Ford made that Industrial model from '63-'65.
I'm curious about the 'right side ' Hi/Lo lever tho.

Looks a lot like a 801 series tractor but with that loader on it, its hard to tell. Serial number should be on the bell housing on a flat spot sort of under the battery box. But if its a diesel the number may not be able to be read because for some reason diesels seem to eat those numbers off with battery acid

Looks like a 2000 light industrial tractor built between Dec 1960 and Aug of 1962. The original color is Vermilion and Buff. (red and yellow)
I say this because the Aug 1962 to Sept 1965 models did not have the emblem on the front. They were also blue and buff.

Should also have a solid non adjustable front axle if it is truly a light industrial.

This tractor was built right along side of the 601 and 801 tractors. The 2000 is the same as a 601 and uses all the same parts except for some industrial modifications such as the different front axle and some other drive line parts.

Look here and tell us if you see any #'s

The lever works simlar to newer transmissions with 2 levers. It gives you low range and high range. I haven't ran it to much the power steering pump went 3 hrs after i purchased. I have one comming
