Had tractor ready to bushhog about 3 acres and
after about 30 min. tractor would go dead. After about hr. it stated. It done this 3 times. Any
help . Thank you.

Sounds like fuel. It aint getting enough.

Check the tank for anything that could slide into place and block flow.

Or perhaps theres not enough air getting in the tank, creating a vacum. Try drilling a very tiny hole in the gas cap.

How does the sediment bowl look???

It could be any number of things.

One possibility is clog in fuel tank at cut off switch. When it cuts off you can check fuel flow by disconnecting fuel line at carburator and see if you have a good fuel flow with the cut off switch on , of course. If no flow or weak flow, you can blow air into line and back into tank with the GAS CAP OFF, briefly, and see if you have a good flow. That's a tempory fix, may last a month or 6 months, permanent fix is to clean tank.
Another possibility is an ignition problem which you can check by seeing if you have spark at the plugs. If no spark, can be several things including bad coil, bad points and condensor, bad distributor cap, maybe even bad ignition switch. Good luck.

Might be a condensor, too. Thing to do is to check fuel flow first, that don't cost nuthin, then start checking if you are getting spark.

Run it till it dies again then check spark the moment it dies. If you don't have a good blue/white spark then most likely a bad coil. If you have a good spark then maybe a clogged gas tank vent or maybe the fuel line is running to close to the engine and vacuum locking on you

Reply to all/ Got spark. New /tank, cutoff, gas
line & bowl, rebuilt carb. ignition & solenoid. I
got one wire coming off coil going through resistor to ignition. Resistor could be bad????
Thanks. Bubba in AL.
