when sitting on the ca tractor there is a dip stick betwen your leggs behind the shifter, what fluid goes in this?

Neither my B or C has that, but i would say thats gear oil or hydrolic fluid for the transmission

thank you but i need more info.
i dont wat to put in ISO32 if it should be 80-90 or vice versa
is there a 6V to 12V conversion kit thats all inclusive?

I believe that fills your transmission, dif, and hydraulics. The original spec calls for SAE 20.

As far as a conversion kit, if you click on the link for 12 volt kits at the top of this page, you should find what you need...

I notice lately there are a lot of responses of uncertainity. I don't know but........
I feel that the people that ask questions on this board are entitled to accurate and responsible answers, other wise one could get in a lot of trouble just trying what he thinks the experts on YTmag advised, even though he should be able to discern between a knowledgeable answer and "I think so".

I have asked questions several times and gotten a lot of really good answers, but a couple of times I could have gotten in trouble if I had not researched further.

I feel that the people on this board are absolutely the best, and reply with expert answers, but once in a while someone chimes in with bad infomation. Sometimes that can be very troubling and expensive.

On my 175 this is for the transmission fluid. But to know for sure you should get a manual. An operator's manual becomes invaluable for care of any tractor.

how about if you don't know the awnser you don't reply to the question
i'm starting to think this was a bad idea

Ken,
How bout you follow the advice and get a manual then you will know for sure. Lots of times you will get free advice that will cost you more money than the $25 manual. And yes I know, it's on page 5 of my manual under approximate capacities.

It would be a bad idea to demand anything (direct answer) from people who are trying to help you. I think we are doing the best we can. Good luck finding a site better then this one
