Ted, about 6 years back sold one for $25. and others went for $20. Hope this helps. This was at my retirement auction.

Here in the FL panhandle, all you have to do is drop your trailer off at the power company field office and they start dropping "pulled" poles on it as they carry them back to the yard. The ones that are not given away are cut into 3-4' lengths and loaded into a dumpster for hazmat disposal--this costs 'em money. Not sure if it's the same where you are but check around before buying...

Ten bucks is common, power co charges $4 but they don't have many that come out. You can hold out for more, but would depend on your area. Lot of places code doesn't allow using them for pole buildings any more.....

Obviously, it depends on where you live; locally, the power company will give them to you...........if you pick them up where/as they're pulled. If they haul 'em back to their yard, they're 10 cents per foot; you cut and load.

Here in N. Georgia an individual gets $1 a foot but if the power co. is replacing the poles on your property or down your road , you are welcome to them.
