I was out your way Allen. I went 4wheelin around nemo 2 weeks ago. Very pretty place i must say.
 
I wasn’t sure where Valentine NE was so I looked at Google map,
There appears to be a road called the cowboy trail and it runs pretty much parallel to Rt. 20. Is this still used ? or is it some type of historic trail and if still used does it go right through private lands or is right of way or state property?.
I was just being curious where I live we have only train tracks and they disappear weekly to become seldom used bike trails.
 
Hi there- who's your wife if I may ask? I'm from close to Valentine, graduated in the class of '85...

And, as stated below in response to another question, the "Cowboy Trail" is the old railroad line...they pulled up the tracks and now it's for bikers or hikers or something...

Yep, I remember Karla. Been a few years back since I last saw her. We're south of Valentine, closer to Thedford actually, so I'm not sure who'd be the bank president from Kilgore but I bet I'd recognize the name if I heard it.

All in all, it's a pretty small world!
 
My wife's grandpa (Karla's dad) Roy Beckley was the V.P. at the bank in Kilgore. As far as I know there is no longer a First National Bank Branch in Kilgore. What is your last name if you dont mind me asking? We are in southwest Missouri near Ava. ......Ok wife has a really strange question is the little filling station still there in Thedford and do they still have the big St.Bernard?
