Ford 901 Gold Demo

Help me price a Ford 901 Gold Demo. I don"t know much about them. The gold paint is showing through. Hasn"t run for a couple of years. It is all there and should run with a bit of coaxing. Tires are poor. How much should I ask for it?
 
Probably would have gotten LOTS of responses in the ford forums.

Since it is a demo.. it is also an SOS tranny.. many people don't like those. bad tires, non running, and thus no way to check the SOS trans? Probably worth 750$.. maybee 1000$ max to a collector, as is, if it has pretty straight tin, and most of the other parts look good in case it needed to be parted out .. etc.. etc.

901 could have been either a gas or a deisel but to be one of the gold demo then it has to be either a 971 or a 981 both selevto speed as the demo tractors were not made with a gear tranny.
 
Where abouts are you at? I've been looking for my Grandpa's tractor which was a gold demo that was repainted. I don't NEED to buy it, but it would be nice to know where it is. I'm in WI and I have a strong suspicion it still around Madison.
