selective herbicide for monocots

You mean Select, Lasso, Dual, etc? Grass killers, don't harm beans or other broadleaves?

Yes, there are several. A sedge is not a true grass, so many "monocot" herbicides will not affect sedges. There are some that are selective for only sedges, like manage and basagran. Most monocot herbicides are enhanced by the use of Ammonium sulfate as an adjuvant. Always read and follow label instructions

I'm not following your request.

Are you looking for a product to select for monocots to kill broadleaves? There's a wide range here depending on the broadleaf, and the application, crop, yard, or pasture.

Or are you looking for a selective product to select against monocots and save the broadleaves? Again a fairly wide range, depending on application: crop, ornamental, etc.

Sorry,

I meant herbicides that will selectively kill monocots and leave the dicots. My immediate interest is to kill all three major type of grass-likes i.e., Pennsylvania sedge and other sedges, grasses and toad rush among ornamental ground covers (vinca, violets, pachysandra and the like).

Thanks
